How did I get into SEO and AI search?
I came to SEO from performance marketing. I spent years running Google and Meta ad campaigns, and I saw the same thing again and again: ads bring leads only while the budget runs, but a business that ranks on Google keeps getting enquiries. So I moved my focus to search.
My first website, MumbaiSEOguy, is where I learned the technical side by doing it myself: hosting, DNS, WordPress, speed and security. That hands-on base is why I can fix a slow or broken site, not just write a report about it.
Search has changed since then. Many buyers now ask ChatGPT, Gemini or Google’s AI Overviews for a recommendation before they ever click a link. My work today covers both sides: ranking on Google, and being the business those AI answers name. I use AI tools every day to research and work faster, and I check every change myself before it goes live on your site.
How do I work on a new project?
Every project follows the same three steps: find the problem, fix what matters first, then measure the result.
STEP 1
Find
I look at your website, your Google Business Profile and what your customers actually search for. Then I tell you plainly what is holding you back and what to fix first.
STEP 2
Fix
I make the changes in order of impact: page content, technical fixes, local listings or ad campaigns. Where you prefer to make changes yourself, I give you the exact copy and steps.
STEP 3
Measure
I track rankings, enquiries and calls in Google Search Console and Google Analytics, explain the numbers in plain language and adjust what isn’t working.
What can you expect when you work with me?
You get direct access to me, accounts that stay in your name, and honest advice, including when SEO isn’t the right spend for you yet.
You talk to the person doing the work. No account managers, no hand-offs to juniors.
Your accounts stay yours. Website, domain, Google Analytics, ad accounts and Google Business Profile stay in your name. On your Business Profile I’m added as a manager, never the owner.
Plain-English updates. You’ll know what was done, why it was done and what comes next.
No promises I can’t keep. Nobody can guarantee the No. 1 spot on Google, and I won’t. I’ll show you the plan and the progress instead.
Your results stay private. I don’t publish other clients’ numbers, and I won’t publish yours.

I hold five certifications from Google and Semrush, covering analytics, tag tracking, digital marketing, SEO and keyword research. I don’t hold ads certifications; my Google Ads and Meta Ads work rests on 5+ years of running campaigns.

Are you a freelancer or an agency?
I’m an independent SEO consultant, not an agency. Some people would call that freelance; what it means for you is one experienced person who plans the work, does the work and reports on it.
Do you work alone or with a team?
I do the work myself. You deal with me from the first message to the monthly report, and nothing is passed to a junior or an account manager.
Do you work with businesses outside Mumbai?
Yes. I’m based in Mumbai and work with businesses across India over WhatsApp, phone and video calls. For local SEO, I work on the city and areas you serve, wherever they are.
